Fire House Pub
About This Spot
Fire House Pub in New Baltimore unfolds as the kind of neighborhood bar and grill where familiarity feels like an invitation rather than an obligation. Nestled quietly along Gratiot Avenue, this spot welcomes you with a laid-back pace that invites lingering conversations and the easy hum of shared moments. The atmosphere balances casual comfort with a friendly energy—you can almost feel the slow rhythm of the kitchen preparing something hearty and satisfying just as naturally as the clink of a cold beer meeting a frosty glass.
Inside, there’s a warmth that goes beyond the wood and brick details—the kind of warmth that shines through in attentive service and the familiar banter between guests and staff. Whether you’re settling into the well-worn booths or perched at the bar, the mood encourages you to take a breath, settle in, and be present. It’s no surprise that many find more than a meal here; it’s a moment of reprieve, a casual pause from whatever the day has held.
The menu quietly reflects this spirit of straightforward satisfaction. The dishes carry a homey heft—think burgers loaded just right, ribs with a smoky slow-roast character, and wings that marry a hint of garlic with Parmesan’s richness. It’s food that feels meant to be enjoyed without fuss, paired with thoughtfully curated beers served generously. Guests often find joy not just in what hits the plate but how the flavors bring folks together, adding layers to the easygoing vibe.
Regulars and newcomers alike appreciate the gentle attentiveness of the team, creating a sense of belonging that never feels rushed or rehearsed. Small gestures—a server’s readiness to guide you through the day’s specials, a bartender’s quick smile as drinks arrive—add up to a dining experience that’s quietly memorable. Parking might require a little extra navigation, but once inside, the details of the day’s logistics slip away.
At Fire House Pub, the experience isn’t about spectacle but the steady comfort of a local spot that knows its rhythm, food, and people well. It’s a place where you can unwind, share a meal that fills both stomach and spirit, and lean into the easy camaraderie of good company and dependable flavors.

Amanda was by far the best server I've had in a long time. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything. She made our experience amazing.

Great spot with good food and service. Grabbed the bbq burger with fried onion rings in it and some garlic Parmesan wings. Both very, very good. Prices are reasonable and the beers are good, they come in 16 oz or 24 oz so be ready. Fries were also very good, crunchy but not dry

This restaurant was really good. The serve was great very nice waitress offered additional information on other day events and menu options. Food was very good. My only negative comment is on the parking in front, awkward but they have parking in back so you can avoid that.

Great chill place when we went. We stopped in because we were waiting on our car near by and needed to kill some time and have a drink. Our bartender was fast, a sweetheart and got our drinks to us fast. Everything you want in a bartender right? Decided to get food and he got steak bites I got a queso pretzel burger. Both were better better than I expected.

A very good place for fish-n-chips! For $10, you'll get several large pieces of thinly battered cod along with your choice of fries, mashed potato, etc. One order probably had the equivalent of at least half a pound, if not 0.75 pound, of fish. The restaurant gets busy at peak times, so try to come earlier or later.

parents went to Firehouse on their weekly budget of getting out to eat once a week and have frequent this place as a regular stop for lunch for years < they always have water to drink for health reason " they got the check and the waitress that is 65ish 70 blond hair told they wont be able to eat here anymore if they dont order a drink next time!!!!!! I called the manager and her excuse was the waitress is a different personality ( like making ppl feel like 2 nd hand we hope all customers. l will stop going to a place that treats their faithful budget senior citizen like 2nd hand , we wonder about our future generations learn ? i hope not from a establishment that lets their employees talk down to people and customers , II hope everyone avoids this restaurant FOR MY PARENTS AND THE WEEKLY LUNCH THEY SAVE FOR
